Illuminating uncharted enzymes at the crossroads of immunity, metabolism, and disease

We explore how poorly understood enzymes and membrane proteins shape immunity, metabolism, and disease progression. A central goal of our research is to uncover new therapeutic targets and actionable biomarkers that can be translated into new precision diagnostics and therapeutics, with a focus on diseases where membrane biology, immunity and metabolism intersect, such as cancer, inflammation, and metabolic dysfunction

In our research projects we use an interdisciplinary approach that blends synthetic and medicinal chemistry, molecular biology, peptide chemistry, proteomics and cell biology.
